Conference abstracts and posters

Conference abstracts are reviewed by the conference scientific committee, while posters are read and discussed by attendees. Both must describe the study design, main results and limits of the conclusions within the prescribed length and layout.

Service scope
We prepare scientific conference abstracts and posters from study results, keeping numbers and conclusions consistent across the abstract, poster and full manuscript.

Abstract selection is decided by the conference; we do not promise outcomes.

Conference abstracts and posters

Service scope
We prepare scientific conference abstracts and posters from study results, keeping numbers and conclusions consistent across the abstract, poster and full manuscript.
Deliverables

An abstract in the language required by the target conference; a poster, including editable source files and final files exported in the required format; a reporting guideline checklist; and an evidence traceability table.

Specifications and timeline
Abstracts follow the target conference's word limit, structure and figure/table rules; posters follow its required dimensions, orientation and electronic poster format. From receipt of complete materials, the first abstract draft takes 5 business days and the first poster draft takes 10 business days; 2 rounds of poster layout revisions are included. The overall schedule is planned backwards from the conference deadline and confirmed for each project.
Pricing basis
Priced per item, with separate quotations for abstracts and posters.

If the abstract is selected for an oral presentation, speaker slides can be commissioned separately under Scientific slides.

These durations cover the first draft, not the total time including all review and revision rounds.

Background and aims
State the research question and the aim of this presentation.
Methods
Describe the design, population, comparison, primary outcomes and analysis methods, adding information appropriate to the study type.
Results
Prioritise prespecified primary outcomes, retaining analysis population sizes, effect sizes and uncertainty; statistical significance judgements must not replace numerical results.
Conclusions
Address the research question, keeping conclusions within the scope of the design, data and limitations.
Sources and disclosures
Present references, registration, funding, conflicts of interest and writing support as required by the conference.

Systematic review abstracts also need information on searches and included studies; conclusions from observational research must retain the limits of interpreting observational associations. Posters may turn key results into figures and tables, but population and analysis definitions in captions must remain consistent with the abstract.

03 · Work steps

Material checks and document preparation

  1. Check conference requirements

Confirm the submission language, word limit, sections, figure/table rules, layout dimensions and deadline.

  2. Confirm the results version

Prepare the abstract from the same version of study materials and analysis outputs, checking population sizes, outcome definitions, units and conclusion wording.

  3. Draft abstract and poster

Retain essential information in the abstract. Organise poster figures, captions and text by content hierarchy, without removing necessary qualifications to fit the layout.

  4. Author review and revision

Consolidate review comments, record their resolution, and check consistency across the abstract, poster and any existing full manuscript.

  5. Check final file formats

Export final files as required by the conference and deliver editable poster source files.

04 · Standards and guidance

Match abstract guidelines to the study design

The conference's requirements for length, sections, figures/tables and disclosures determine the submission format. Reporting guidelines help check essential information; shortening text must not change study results.

Randomised controlled trialsTable 1 of the Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trials (CONSORT) abstract extension, CONSORT for Reporting Randomized Controlled Trials in Journal and Conference Abstracts (2008), covers design, methods, results, conclusions, registration and funding. Systematic reviews and meta-analysesThe Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) 2020 abstract checklist contains 12 items: items 3–6 cover methods, 7–8 results, 9–10 discussion, and 11–12 funding and registration. The checklist was published with the PRISMA 2020 statement in 2021.Abstract checklist.
Observational studiesItem 1(a) of the Strengthening the Reporting of Observational Studies in Epidemiology guidelines (STROBE, 2007) requires the study design to be identified in the title or abstract. Item 1(b) requires an informative and balanced abstract of what was done and found. This page cites the title and abstract items in the main checklist.STROBE checklists.

Sections II.A.2 and II.A.3 of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) recommendations, January 2026, address authorship and non-author contributions respectively. 06 · Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Consistency between abstract and poster

Numbers and conclusions must remain consistent across the abstract, poster and full manuscript. When materials are updated, identify version changes and handle differences between a submitted abstract and subsequent poster according to conference requirements.

Conference templates and language

Abstracts follow the target conference's language, sections and word limit; posters follow its dimensions, orientation and electronic file format.

Oral presentation slides

Speaker slides may be commissioned separately and are not included in the default abstract and poster deliverables.

Authorship disclosure and acceptance

Our contribution is disclosed in the acknowledgements in line with ICMJE and GPP 2022; we are not listed as authors. Writing support and funding sources are disclosed truthfully. Abstract selection is decided by the conference. We do not promise publication outcomes.
