Clinical Research Services

Pricing and service scope

Every project starts with a free feasibility assessment. If the data cannot support a high-quality publication, we explain this and stop without charging. A formal quotation follows the assessment; any surcharges are itemised before the contract is signed.

Free feasibility assessment · Quotation after assessment · We do not promise publication outcomes

04 Clinical Research

Pricing factors

Formal quotations depend on study type, data complexity, depth of analysis and visualisation, and communication and management requirements.

Study types
Retrospective cohorts, prospective cohorts, multicentre studies and RCTs differ in workload and risk control requirements. Multicentre and prospective projects involve substantially more work than retrospective studies.
Data complexity
Missingness, number of variables, follow-up duration, consistency across centres, and the need for MICE imputation and multiple sensitivity analyses. Base scope: ≤30 variables + ≤2,000 participants.
Depth of analysis and visualisation
Basic regression, propensity score causal inference, time-dependent models / restricted cubic splines (RCS) / subgroups and interactions, and redrawing figures to journal publication standards.
Communication and management requirements
Whether regular weekly meetings, milestone acceptance, cross-team collaboration, and project management and risk alerts during submission are required.

05 Clinical Research

Fees and service boundaries

Starting-price scope
¥12,800 covers standard modelling with ≤30 variables and ≤2,000 participants. Additional work is priced in workload tiers, with surcharges itemised in the quotation before signing; no further charges are added after signing.
Invoices and payment
Standard VAT invoices and special VAT invoices (增值税专用发票) are issued at agreed milestones after the collaboration agreement is signed. Collaboration starter and Full-service management support a single payment or two instalments (50% on signing + 50% before submission); Multicentre / RCT uses milestone payments.
Free assessment
Every project starts with a free feasibility assessment. If the data cannot support a high-quality publication, we explain this and end the engagement without charging any fees.
Early termination
Clients may request termination in writing at any time. Settlement follows the service contract's Delivery Milestone Schedule: delivered and accepted milestones are charged at the contractual amount; unstarted milestones are refunded in full; milestones in progress are settled according to the completion percentage agreed in writing by both parties. The balance is refunded via the original payment method within 5 business days. This policy applies from 22 September 2026; contracts signed earlier remain subject to the version effective when signed ( Refund Policy Clause 3).

Two ways of working together, chosen when the contract is signed

Model 1 · Statistical co-authorship

Manuscript drafting
Our statistical experts analyse the data and prepare the first draft; researchers review, revise and give final approval
Submission and revision
Researchers submit the manuscript and approve each revised version
Disclosure
Authorship under our company's real affiliation; truthful contribution and conflict of interest statements
Eligibility
Available for some projects, assessed before signing; not applicable to degree theses

Model 2 · Guided self-writing

Manuscript drafting
Researchers write the full manuscript; we provide statistical analysis and written comments
Submission and revision
Researchers submit and respond to reviewers; we provide guidance on revision approaches
Disclosure
No authorship; contribution stated in the acknowledgements
Eligibility
All projects

Resident physicians in standardised training and graduate students who choose statistical co-authorship need written consent from their supervisor and their institution. Please check in advance with your institution's research administration office whether co-authorship needs to be registered internally.

Three service boundaries. We do not promise publication outcomes or a particular journal or impact factor. Our main support range is impact factor (IF) 1–5, with a capability ceiling of IF 1–10; targets above this range are discussed during assessment. Fees do not depend on publication outcomes. Payments are due on signing and before submission, independently of journal decisions; there are no post-acceptance revenue-sharing arrangements. Our services comprise methodological support, writing and revision. We do not ghostwrite. Our involvement in a paper is disclosed truthfully: where our staff meet the authorship criteria of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), they are listed as authors under our company's real affiliation; any other contribution is stated in the acknowledgements. Terms of service
In-scope revisions and quality responsibility

Includes statistical questions explicitly raised by reviewers in the journal decision letter concerning our analytical methods, up to 3 revisions.

Excludes rejection due to data limitations (insufficient sample size, missing key variables or incorrect eligibility definitions); requests beyond statistical methods (changing the research question or analysis population, or adding subanalyses); and additional data collection requested by reviewers.

If the journal decision letter explicitly identifies a methodological error in the statistical analysis as the reason for rejection, and it remains unresolved after 3 revisions or appeals by us, under Refund Policy Clause 2, fees paid for that stage are refunded in full. The original journal decision letter or reviewer comments must accompany the request as evidence. View the refund policy

06 Clinical Research

Pricing explained

Base scope from ¥12,800

The base quotation covers standard modelling with ≤30 variables and ≤2,000 participants. Additional work is priced in workload tiers, with surcharges itemised in the quotation before signing; no further charges are added after signing.

Publication outcomes and quality responsibility

Publication outcomes are not included. No organisation can promise acceptance by a particular journal. Our commitment is to the contractual statistical methodology quality provisions: if in-scope statistical questions from reviewers remain unresolved after 3 revisions or appeals, they are handled under Refund Policy Clause 2.

Package upgrades and fee credits

Yes. All fees paid for Collaboration starter are credited towards Full-service management; only the difference is payable. Please indicate your intention to upgrade before the project starts so that the design can accommodate the data interfaces needed later.

Invoices and payment options

Standard VAT invoices and special VAT invoices (增值税专用发票) are issued at agreed milestones after the collaboration agreement is signed. Collaboration starter and Full-service management support a single payment or two instalments (50% on signing + 50% before submission); Multicentre / RCT uses milestone payments.

Sample plans before signing

We can provide anonymised excerpts from design plans for similar studies. A complete plan tailored to your data is issued after the free assessment discussion.

Medical Writing pricing for industry

These prices do not apply. Medical writing and revision for pharmaceutical Medical Affairs teams begin with a Requirement confirmation form covering deliverable types and quantities, products and marketing status, material classification and intended use. An itemised quotation and agreed revision rounds follow.
