Typical workflow

Publication plans organise research content and the sequence of work; manuscripts and conference materials are developed from actual data and author comments.

  1. Review of studies and materials

List research questions, data maturity, existing analyses, previously public content and intended uses.

  2. Publication planning

Map scientific themes to manuscripts, abstracts or posters, recording material dependencies, proposed timelines, target outlets and review arrangements. Overlapping content should be identified in advance.

  3. Author communication and disclosure preparation

Define author and contributor roles before writing, and record funding, interests and writing support. Authorship eligibility is determined under the applicable standards; it cannot be purchased or allocated by contract.

  4. Outline and manuscript development

Organise methods and results according to study type. Manuscripts, abstracts and posters use the same confirmed data definitions and reporting conventions, retaining sources and qualifications.

  5. Review and comment resolution

Authors undertake substantive manuscript review. Comments are addressed individually and version records retained; disputed content is referred to the relevant authors for discussion and confirmation.

  6. Pre-submission approval and subsequent revisions

Authors approve the intended submission version and disclosures. Submission follows the target journal or conference requirements; subsequent revisions retain records of responses and changes.

A publication plan usually records research themes, data sources and status, planned publications, proposed outlets, timing dependencies, author communication and review arrangements, disclosures and version changes. This describes the structure and does not promise publication numbers or acceptance dates.

Package engagement

Research publication projects

The work package includes analysis and interpretation of results; manuscripts, abstracts and medical figures; and author review and revision support. Input materials, interim deliverables and acceptance criteria are agreed around the client's actual work package.

A publication plan can be requested as a standalone service. Any combination with specific manuscript work is specified in the requirement confirmation form. The scope does not constitute a promise of publication numbers, acceptance outcomes or publication dates.

Frequently asked questions

Purpose of a publication plan

A publication plan sets out how research content can form manuscripts, abstracts or posters and records materials preparation, author review and proposed timelines. Plans can change and do not promise publication numbers or publication dates.

First-draft timelines for abstracts and posters

From receipt of complete materials, the first abstract draft takes 5 working days and the first poster draft 10 working days; 2 rounds of poster layout revisions are included. The overall schedule is planned backwards from the conference deadline and confirmed for each project. Abstract selection is decided by the conference; we do not promise selection outcomes.

Authorship and disclosure of writing support

We are not listed as authors. The author team determines authorship according to actual contributions and the ICMJE criteria; our writing and statistical support and its funding sources are disclosed truthfully in the acknowledgements.

Consolidating comments from multiple reviewers

The client may consolidate comments into a single submission, or submit them separately for us to combine into one resolution list. Standard provision includes at least 2 rounds of internal quality control plus 2 rounds of client revisions. Delivery includes a point-by-point record of responses to comments.

Boundaries on publication outcome commitments

We do not promise publication outcomes. Acceptance is decided by the journal editorial office and peer review. Evidence traceability tables, quality control logs and compliance checklist records are archived individually and can be provided as agreed in the contract.

Use of artificial intelligence tools

Artificial intelligence tools are used only for language editing, formatting and expansion of search terms, not to generate medical facts, research data, references or conclusions. Claims in deliverables are checked by people against the original literature. Client confidential information, unpublished product information and personal information are not entered into any external service.
